I started running writing workshops in my home town of Bungay, in Suffolk, at the end of 2023; my first workshop was called \u2018Pen to Paper\u2019 \u2013 it was an eight week course (two hours per week), bringing people together discussing the \u2018fading\u2019 art of letter-writing \u2013 with looking at published letters, both contemporary and past, and writing to each other.<\/p>

This was followed by a short-story workshop, poetry, diary writing and I am now running a \u2018Nature Notes\u2019 course \u2013 all of which are eight-weeks long.<\/p>

I very much enjoy bringing people together for these workshops, encouraging people to write and discuss wonderful poems, stories and excerpts from books too that they like to share.<\/p>

I have also been able to produce two books, too, so far, from the Short Story and Poetry course \u2013 these are: \u2018Short Stories and Tiny Tales\u2019 and \u2018An Ode to Bungay\u2019 \u2013 which are<\/p>

being sold at the local theatre, The Fisher Theatre (in Bungay); and the next book will be based on the Nature Notes workshop.<\/p>

My next workshop will be about writing personal biographies \u2026 because EVERYONE has a story to tell!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A written record of your life is a wonderful concept \u2013 but where \/ how to begin?\u00a0 I would love to help you create a book, detailing parts of your life you would like future generations of your family to know about, so they can know you, understand you and appreciate you \u2013 especially when you are not here.\u00a0 Such a book can be styled however you wish, as a printed scrap book, with photographs, anecdotes and quotes galore.\u00a0<\/p>
